Feed Mills

Fane Valley has invested heavily in the technology and systems to produce consistently high quality feeds from the mills at Newry and Omagh.

Fane Valleys feed mill in Newry is one of the largest ruminant-only production sites in the province
specialising in high quality rations for local milk and beef producers.

The supermilk range of dairy feeds produced at the mill are well established and are used by some of the top dairy herds in the province including the prestigious "CREAM" herd at Greenmount College where yields in excess of 11,500 kgs per cow are being achieved.

A program of ration development ensures that new science based feeds are introduced in response to the needs of our customers and all are supported by sound technical advice.

Animal feeds have been produced at the Scotts mill in the centre of Omagh for over 150 years and they joined the Fane Valley group in 2000 when the business was acquired from the Scott family. Scotts are the major supplier of livestock

feeds in the west of the province and in addition to a highly successful range of dairy and beef rations they manufacture feeds for all forms of poultry and for pigs.

The mill was one of the first in the province to gain approval under the Universal Feed Assurance scheme underlining the company's commitment to the quality and safety of its product.

Both sites comply fully with the Universal Feed Assurance Scheme which is audited to the prestigious EN45011 standard.
